Trials Support
Trials
of modern payload sensor systems (radar; sonar; Infrared; visual etc.)
involves an instrumented platform plus the payload to be tested. The platform
(aircraft, ship etc.) will be instrumented with position, speed and other
sensors that are important in processing the information that comes from
the payload equipment.
Evaluation
of the payload equipment involves:
- planning
gradated tests for the payload in its environment
- simulation
of performance and results evaluation
- platform
testing that includes recording of all relevant parameters as well
as the payload information
- laboratory
replay and analysis of recordings
- archiving
- data
mining as part of modifications or following incidents

Our
products are aimed at supporting these functions.
Our acquisition systems Air-Lab and Artisan will interface with simulation
equipment, act as emulators as well as providing data capture on a platform.
Our recording products, StoreFast and tape interfaces SD01 and SD02, will
store the acquired data and provide archiving facilities.
We employ a recording format that simplifies data mining activities and
recovery of relevant datasets.
Our Fibre-Link product will support transfer of data around test sites
and analysis areas, allowing operator communication and control signals
to be transferred alongside the main data. This is feature is of great
importance to real-time operations.
